Cheers to The Feed Mill Celebration!

Updated: Sep 15, 2021

Friday, 17th September 2021, Medford, NJ

MEDFORD, NJ - Oktoberfest 2021 will not take place in Munich so celebrate in Medford (and Haddonfield)! Don your dirndl or sport your lederhosen and fete the fact that fermentation may have been a greater discovery than fire.

The Haddonfield-founded King’s Road Brewing Company will celebrate its second location at The Feed Mill in Historic Medford Village. Let no one thirst for beer - the Grand Opening ceremony will begin on Friday, September 17 at 3 p.m. and the very next day, King’s Road Brewing Company will kick off its Oktoberfest celebration, running from September 18 to October 3 at both locations. The new King’s Road brewery is located at 67 North Main Street, Medford, NJ.

The Grand Opening will be part of a larger fun-filled ceremony at The Feed Mill, with games and live music! Wing It Forward Wings will join King’s Road in celebration as it also opens at The Feed Mill. Whole Hog Cafe, which has been open for a few weeks, Peewee’s Ice Cream, Harvest Coffee Roastery and Studio 67 may also be in attendance for the grand opening celebration. Peewee's will give out free samples and sell frozen treats like their Ice Cream Sammies and Peewee Pops

"During the pandemic, we recognized demand for our beer was actually greater than our supply, so we started looking for a new production facility and Medford was it,” King’s Road co-owner Bob Hochgertel said. “Our brewing facility is four times larger than the one in Haddonfield with about twice the capacity. The tasting room is about the same.” Thomas Jefferson said “Beer, if drank with moderation, softens the temper, cheers the spirit and promotes health.” King’s Road Brewing Company is a place designed to cheer the spirit, where everyone can meet, share in their love of community and appreciation of craft beer.

About King’s Road: King’s Road opened the doors of its original brewery in 2017 in Haddonfield. The historic building was originally built in 1777 as Gibb’s Tavern. King’s Road’s had to move to a larger location in Haddonfield about a year later. Their name refers to its address on historic King’s Highway.
