Restorative Yoga with Live Sound

Join us for a relaxing evening of restorative yoga with live sound featuring crystal singing bowls and individual healing with crystal prism chime. During a restorative yoga practice, individuals will slow down and hold poses for an extended period of time while supporting the body with props to allow complete rest in each pose. Most of the day people live in flight or fight mode and restorative yoga lets the nervous system take a break and turns on the relaxation response in the parasympathetic nervous system. Dress comfortable for this experience and besides a yoga mat bring household items like a blanket, beach towel, and pillow(s) to prop and support your body during the practice. Traditional yoga props such as blocks, a bolster, and an eye pillow can be helpful but not necessary. Restorative yoga is for everyone, those new to yoga, those with experience, and those just looking for a peaceful evening. Adding sound healing to this experience allows for deeper relaxation as vibrational healing can help restore the nervous system and leads to: – reduced stress – improved sleep – lower blood pressure – pain management
