#DowntownHaddonfield is hosting a Birthday Party for Haddonfield’s favorite dinosaur! The bronze sculpture of the Hadrosaurus Foulki, or “Haddy”, is turning 22, the Borough of Haddonfield are hosting a day of family-friendly events.
Kids can search for Dino Eggs along Kings Highway, starting at 12 PM. Dinosaur eggs with REAL dinosaurs inside, will be scattered across Downtown Haddonfield ONE EGG PER CHILD, please!
Educational Demos by Edelman Fossil Park and story time with Haddonfield Public Library in Haddy Lane at 1:00 and 1:30 PM.
Sing Happy Birthday to Haddy – 2:00 pm at the sculpture on Kings Highway and Lantern Lane. Treats sponsored by Sweet T’s bakery (while supply lasts). FOR CHILDREN ONLY, please.
Dino Dance Off – 3:00 pm in Kings Court by the Gazebo! All dancers must be in costume (dinosaurs, dragons, unicorns, cryptic and reptiles alike are all welcomed) and whoever has the best dance moves will win a prize.
DJ Frank Staff will be spinning in Kings Court starting at 11 AM. Other non-profits might have things to offer in Kings Court.
The original marl pit site on Maple Avenue, where the Hadrosaurus Foulki bones were found, has a historical marker that is celebrating its 41st Birthday!
