World-renowned American experimental musician and composer Jair-Rohm performs his audacious improvisations on a specially designed electro-acoustic bass that envelops the listener in an intense cloud of sound.
A collaborator with many contemporary jazz notables, Jair-Rohm has been composer in residence at the New York Theater Ensemble, writing and producing a series of progressive operas, and the recipient of a Meet the Composer grant. Jair-Rohm founded the New Brunswick Jazz Musicians’ Collective, for which he composed several ensemble works. His current experimental music projects include an ambient electronic music-powered spaceship.
