Hammonton Community Market

The Hammonton Green Committee will host an outdoor Community Market event in Downtown Hammonton from 5 to 8 p.m, that will take place on Horton Street.

The market will feature local farmers, artisans and makers and will feature entertainment performed by local musician Samantha Irwin. The focus of the outdoor market is to provide quality products and services that inspire the community to take steps to live more sustainably. “We have a wonderful group of sustainability focused vendors for the upcoming June 28th market. Each of our vendors truly cares about the health and wellbeing of our community, which shows in the quality and craftsmanship of their products”, market coordinator Lisa Zeuner explained.

The outdoor market will be located on Horton Street in Hammonton between Bellevue and Orchard (near Marcello’s and Chimney Rustic Ale). Participating vendors will include local farmers, eco friendly crafters, artisans and non-profit organizations. Shoppers can swing by to purchase a variety of farmers market items including local fruits & vegetables, flowers, plants, gourmet mushrooms, organic herbs, honey, preserves, locally baked pastries, artisanal breads and herbaceous spirits. Handcrafted items available at the market include artisan goods, soaps, salves, botanical candles, essential oils, jewelry, charcuterie boards and more. You will find many other eco-friendly options available at the market such as fermentation supplies and waste free products.

The Green Committee is now able to welcome people who use SNAP benefits to use them to purchase eligible items at the market. The Green Committee will bring the mobile Seed Library with free seeds to share.
